Tooth heaven

The Girl lost one of her teeth yesterday.  Well, she didn’t lose it – it fell out.

So, she showed us and put it under her pillow.

We promptly forgot about it, and I hadn’t given it a single thought until just now when she got in from school.

She went to her room, got her tooth out from under her pillow, wandered into the study where I am working and said “Mum, seeing as I’m now too old to believe in the tooth fairy, can I just throw this in the bin and you can give me £1?”

Bloody cheek!
